The Role

A US-based company is seeking team members with English and Chinese language skills.

You'll help install and support a powerful integrated system for brand protection, inventory control and communication. This system uses 2D barcodes and proprietary hardware, hand held scanners, wireless networks and routers.

You will help set up and maintain this technology and provide support as part of an implementation team. You will:

  • Work with the team to design, install and configure the software/ hardware (Training is provided)
  • Train users so the system is effective
  • Support users to identify and solve problems
  • Prepare documentation as required
  • Participate and support development of team members through cross-training

The work schedule is a five (5) day work week Monday to Friday.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

  • English (essential) and Mandarin (highly desirable) language skills.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional working experience.
  • Honest, hard-working, detail-oriented, friendly and co-operative
  • Able to succeed in cross-cultural and multi-language work environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Education / experience in networking (wireless access points, network switches, routers, etc.). Training is provided to improve your skills.
  • Experienced in hardware and software installation and troubleshooting
  • Basic database education or experience (Oracle, MySQL, etc.) would be an advantage but is not required.
